The KVK possesses 15 ha of land which includes 70 % of tillah land and 30% of plain land. The KVK farm boundary is demarcated and protected by barbed wire fencing. Total cultivated land till date is 5.5 ha. The main objective of the farm is to demonstrate the latest agricultural technologies to the farmers/ farm women, rural youths and the extension functionaries of the district. It also acts as a tool to do the applied research on agricultural technologies and undertake trials before their transfer to farmer’s field. The various demonstration units constructed are mostly under temporary shade. The layout of KVK farm is depicted below .
